Stop Using Your Mind To Make Excuses

Written by Alex Marlin on October 28, 2007 – 6:42 pm -

As we grow older we are supposed to start thinking wiser and showing progress in life. As it seems, I notice more and more people growing older and becoming more bitter. Is society to blame for this? They are spending most of their time coming up with excuses why this or that isn’t working in their lives. If they honestly want to see progress, then it would be time to stop making excuses and start using your mind for more powerful things.

As the day went by I was really focusing on what to do today that would inspire some of my readers that isn’t actually making much progress in their work environment, business or life. A lot of the things that we are experiencing in our lives has to do with our own mind. If your unhappy, unhealthy or just depressed then your mind is winning the game of life.

I have always had little slogans that I set my mind on when things is bad or when I am just not getting into the right mood. Mood swings is something that can easily be achieved based on our own thoughts. One of my favorite slogans is: “If he/she can do it, so can I”. I always use this when I can’t find the right solution to a problem, I don’t ever dwell on the problem, I always try to focus on the solution. That was my favorite mind food while I was in school, and it always made me pass my classes.

How Do You Keep Yourself Pepped Up When Your So Thin

Being thin isn’t easy, because many people make jokes about you and have fun at your expense, but I was never ever the target because of my size, because I had a slogan for anything anyone would say concerning my size. As a matter of fact, it was mostly girls that would say your thin or skinny, and I would always answer: “That’s why your staring at me like that, wondering when you will get your chance to date me.” Yes, believe it, it always worked, and I would be dating that same girl that said I was too thin.

That would always break the ice, and they would just start laughing, I always had something to say no matter who tried to make me look small. It always seemed that my mind would just spring up with an answer to protect my size. You have to learn how to defend yourself with words and not excuses.

I am always in a great mood, because I would always have my mind set on what I want to do or accomplish in my life. I never let my mind stray away and go into a rotting mood and start thinking all kinds of negative things. I always had one thought that I would think of and it would put a smile on my face. I am very sorry, but I can’t share that with you, that would be infringement on my privacy.

But as you can see, you can also create such a mind moment for yourself.

It is actually very easy, just think on something great that always made you laugh or smile. If it was really a great moment you would end up smiling now while you think on it, that is how powerful those simple little moments are and can swing your mood in a flash.

It doesn’t have to be something you experience, like what I am using, it can also be something that you read or saw in a movie. Keep it nice and simple, and make sure it is something that makes you smile or laugh.

Don’t spend time thinking on things that will make you sad, you will only get more bitter and the truth is no body gives what face you walk around with. I have seen a good looking girl when she was young grow up to be such a grouch and have such a mad looking face because of how she keeps her face. The more time you spend thinking on awful things or people that did you wrong, the more power your giving them.

Stop Using Your Mind To Blame Others

Winners knows how important it is to stand responsible for their own actions. You have to learn how to not blame yourself, while at the same accepting that what your doing isn’t working and come up with a better solution. Just don’t quit or give up, the solution will come.

Pay attention for the coming week to the conversations or actions you will notice happening around you and how many people will be blaming others for everything that went wrong or is going wrong with them. If you start observing more and more of this type of behavior you would understand why many of these people are stuck in life. They are letting their mind control their built in solutions box and using excuses to blame others.

It is important to understand the power of your own brain, once you realize how powerful your own brain is at coming up with solutions, that will be the day you stop using excuse and blaming others.

How To Focus And Become A Person Of Actions

To increase your brain power is the best way to turn on your solution switch, you will have to start educating yourself. By this I don’t mean going back to School, which is also a great idea if you had been thinking about completing a certain education but kept putting it off, but what I actually mean is to start reading up on a specific topic that your interested in. Just grab a book and start reading, this is the best mind stimulant known to man.

Start paying attention to what people are saying and actually listening to them. Stop speaking like your racing with your own words. Take your time and speak.

And for once in your life, stop saying I will do it later, if there is anything you can do now, just get it done now, not tomorrow or next week. Start seeing yourself as an important person, and think before you speak and don’t blame even if it it was the other persons fault. Just simple say: OK, that didn’t work, so what do you think we can do that will work?

You are using the right questions that will force your brain to come up with the right solution. Your brain has the power to solve any problem your faced with, if you would only learn to ask the right questions.

There are no problems in life only challenges

If you wish to not remember the rest of this article it wouldn’t be a problem if you would focus on just the headline I wrote above. The power to solve any problem lies in the fact that you first have to understand that there are no problems, there are only challenges. Once you see any obstacle your faced with as a challenge, then your mind will start seeking the solution.

With a little boost you will master this process, just learn to accept the challenges, and prove how you will overcome each and every challenge your faced with. Just don’t question why anything happens to you, just understand that your being challenged every step of the way. Some of us have small mild challenges, while others gets gigantic destructive challenges. We all have the power within us to overcome each and every challenge we are facing.

It is obvious that if life was easy everyone would be wealthy and rich, but only those that master the process of overcoming challenges will win. My challenge now that I am facing is understanding how this whole Internet game works, and mastering this process will be easy, because I am educating myself and reading each and everything I can get my hands on that has to do with building sites online, getting traffic to these sites and making them worthwhile and important.

There is a saying that has so much truth to it, that I will bring it up now. I will give it with a little story twist. Let’s say I gave 20 people 1 Million dollars today and offer them free hand to do with it as they please. I can bet you that at least 19 if not all 20 would not have a dime after two to three years.

So why is that?

They have never focussed on owning a million dollars nor visualizing what they would do with it. They have no clue how to manage their own money. That will be like giving a five your old money and saying to save it. They just don’t understand the value of money nor how to make it work for them. They would buy all the nice things the world has to offer, drive fancy expensive cars and live in huge 5 bedrooms homes, each and every family member would get a little bit, if they are not “cheapos”.

Now if I take one person that has worked their way up the ladder and earned a million dollars and took it away from them, they would not see that as a problem, they would see it as a challenge and will surely become a millionaire in a much faster time, they understand how to make money work for them. The have a solution oriented mind. They just don’t accept defeat.

Which mindset do you want?

Do you want to keep wishing to be given a million dollars, wishing for a big winning lottery ticket or start developing your own mindset to earn a million dollars?

I leave you with that question, I trust anyone reading this blog will know which solution will create total freedom.

There was a lot of advice I got out of this post and I thank you for that.

Now with the question you asked at the ending. I would choose to earn the million dollars. I would feel much better when I work hard for what I want other then freely getting it. In that way no one can bad talk me when having it.

Once you work hard and get what you want, then everything else in life will be even easier to achieve.

I don’t think it’s about working hard, it’s about working smarter. Some of us work very hard and have little to show for it.

Basically it is about earning enough to live a life most only dream of, for some it would be $5000 monthly for others it would be a million dollars, but the key here is to want more out of life and not settling for less.

Just change your mind set and start seeing a life of abundance and not mediocrity. There is enough in the world for all of us to live wealthy and happy lives. But many of us complain our wealth away.

Don’t you lot see? Sure the mind frame is completely correct. You should aim to see a solution around any obstacle.

Physical obstacles–Use parkour to pass them. Trust me, look into the discipline of parkour and you WILL never look back.

Mental obstacles–They aren’t obstacles, merely changes in what you feel. Anyone elses opinion isn’t your problem, it’s their’s. If you have a problem with yourself, do something about it. It won’t get better on its own. Anything that upsets you isn’t a solid state, it’s merely your opinion of it that does. So change your opinion on it. How much more obvious can it get????????!?!?!?!?!?

In the right frame of mind, you can have no problems in life whatsoever, period. I have no problems in life, so am free to do anything I want to do, for example expressing my opinions. if you don’t like what I’m reading, it’s your problem, not mine. Get my point?

And about money. Money means nothing in life, excluding the essential stuff you need (That’s what minimum wage is for) You can live the best life in the world with next to no money, thus giving money almost no value at all.

If you agree with me about a problem free life, you have no problems. If you don’t, then you’ve just created a new one for yourself :)
